Ziraat Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. considers energy energy efficiency and the efficient use of resources to be an integral part of the sustainable value-generating capacity of the assets it develops and manages. Within this framework, it adopts the principle of managing energy performance through a systematic approach and of ensuring continuous improvement.
Energy management activities are carried out in accordance with applicable national legislation, relevant regulations, and international standards. In this context, standards and best practices, primarily the principles of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System, are integrated into business processes.
This policy covers all properties owned and managed by the Company, as well as projects in the development phase.
In line with this, our Company commits to:
- To monitor, analyze, manage, and improve energy consumption using systematic and data-driven methods,
- To evaluate the impact of energy use within the scope of its activities and identify significant energy uses; in this context, to establish and monitor energy performance indicators and energy performance baselines,
- To set measurable objectives and targets for improving energy performance, to review them regularly, and to monitor performance,
- To develop and implement technologies, applications, and projects aimed at improving energy performance,
- To prioritize practices that enhance energy efficiency and resource efficiency in new project development, design, construction, and operation processes,
- To support the procurement of products, equipment, and services aimed at improving energy performance and to consider energy performance criteria in procurement processes,
- To ensure full compliance with applicable legislation and obligations regarding energy efficiency; To integrate relevant standards and developments into its processes,
- To promote energy efficiency awareness of energy efficiency by encouraging the participation of employees, suppliers, service providers, tenants, and other stakeholders,
- To evaluate and increase the use of renewable energy sources, where appropriate and feasible,
- To address energy performance in an integrated manner with the Company's risk management and sustainability approach,
- To provide the necessary organizational structure, competencies, information infrastructure, and financial resources to improve the effectiveness of the energy management system,
- To review its processes in line with the findings obtained within the scope of the energy management system and to maintain its commitment to continuous improvement.
The implementation and continuous improvement of the Energy Management System is carried out under the supervision of senior management; its performance is reviewed regularly and updated, where deemed necessary.
This policy is entered into force upon the approval of the Board of Directors and is accessible to and binding upon all employees, tenants and relevant stakeholders.
